build a home for when we're able to be home to rest and recuperate!
I don't know how I came across the website... surfing the web i guess?
...and why did I take a look? Medeival times have always held a fascination
for me and the art work on this Role Playing site has an appeal to anyone
who admires the art of the early Renaissance but also photo realism.
Holy-War is a free and complex online role player game!
Dive into the age of the Holy War! Take on the role of
Knight, Saracen or Pagan and conquer or defend the Holy Land!
There's a very active forum. It is an international site and multi languages.
German, French, Spanish, Turkish, UK or International are your choices
as i recall... There are many ineresting and knowlegeable characters/players
who share information about history and culture. Many are there just to do
Battle. It seems to be new but is rising quickly in the rankings online for
RPG gaming site.
When you join you choose your name and faith but you can battle or be in
alliances with anyone, any of The Orders, Battles etc. You can (and need to)
buy a horse from a steed like the man from La mancha would ride to an
Arabian Stallion or other thoroughbreds of that time and regions that were
then converging on the Holy Lands.
There's a battle slated for the 27th of December. There's still time to build up
your points - strength, agility, defences, and other stats to be ready. Other
battles that are announced are either Holy Wars or just Battles adn there is a
detailed map of the Continent with the names of cities and countries and who
has control of them... what the location of the upcoming battle is and before
the battle you go to the war encampment to rest and build up points that help
you make it through the battle! (I can't believe I'm getting such enjoyment
from this new hobby I've found!)
((as befuddling as this sounds... the stresses about today's world melt away
when you meet pagans, christians, hindi, muslim and others all online -of course
many are very young but others aren't - discussing the issues that stem from the
time frame of the past... the comments and forums are very well moderated for obvious reasons... no hate speech or demeaning remarks allowed...
This is one of the more relaxing websites I've ever been on presenting yourself as a character and voicing your personal beliefs within a historical context!))
This game is ideal for when you are at work. I'm at work now writing this
article for my blog, right? I'm also working in the city where the game Holy-Wars
is centered so I can earn gold coins! (smiles) I'm working for 7 hrs over there in
Holy War City and I can get called to a battle or maybe even attacked? ...no...
I think because I'm a low level and new that I'm under a protective status
while I get a foot hold on this game.

| What makes for great Content? I've seen that question addressed by many members here at APSense and also all over the internet. It's a question I puzzle over all the time. Here's why: There are so many times I have visited blogs here at APSense that are well written, informative, and useful for online marketers only to see that someone has 'dropped' it... There is no explanation for such a rating as far as I can tell. Is that because I see a short blog to let us know about a business opportunity as a valid entry? Partly. But it also happens to those here who actually write articles or have blogs that they've put time and care into to make it worthwhile for everyone... Content should be of interest to your reader. So, that is who you write for. Are you writing for the majority or members on a Social Business Network or for the members you would like to join your affiliate program? Blogs are an excellent way to get your business information out to the general membership knowing that it's more likely that your target audience will see it. There is a risk in doing that here because someone might deem your blog/article as -1 or thumbs down. Content should be easy to read and few typos... I see APSense as a learning ground for all of us to get accustomed to writing about our interests, hobbies, online marketing etc. I know when I first started marketing online, I was nervous about what to write for ads, forums, blogs etc. I stayed away from the blogger typ sites because I just wasn't ready for it yet. That's what's so great about APSense and other SN's... you can publish what you want and get rewarded for it... there's an incentive...especially with the WOA.... like whoa... that's cool! Content should be just long enough for the reader wih only a moment to peruse it but long enough for getting your key points across. If you are able to create copy that is formatted correctly so that it isn't a strain on the eyes ... that is very important for reading online... Paragraphs should be separated by white space or a dbl space. It is best to keep sentences short but I'm terrible at that one! ... and don't be afraid to elaborate on a specific point that requires it. Content can be humorous Whether you have down home humor or are from Brooklyn NewYork... express that humor that is essentially you. Content can be intellectual That is definitely not my style but I do know a new friend who has joined here that is bringing an intellectual aspect to this community. Content can be Commercial? Blogging online is ideal for promoting your business opportunities. There is no better way to become known by your name or user ID... and that is to Blog and promote yourself! Everyone who starts to earn has learned that promotion ~ done in a way that suits who they are and who they are reaching out to ~ is the key to success for online marketing. It is arduous work to post classified ads, to write even the simplest of blogs about your business, to do all the tasks that we do as online marketers... No matter what you write here at APSense if I find the time to read it and post a comment, then I'm proud to give you a thumbs up for your effort and for what you have taken the time to do for my benefit... the possibility of finding that one opportunity that will suit me... that will bring in that extra income stream that we're all helping one another achieve. I don't like say "you'll make lots of money with this program" when I myself have not. | Good job Beth! I do have one little.....question. I see everyone saying that you should write content that the reader will enjoy or wants to read. While that's true, what about writing a little about yourself and what YOU like even if not everyone else does? The reason I ask is because my logic is that people still want to know who you are and what you're like through your writing, otherwise the "personal connection" is lost especially in this age of the internet. NOTE: the word "you" is being used collectively below. Wouldn't this make you "real"? Think about it, who's going to call you on the phone just to get to know you and hear your voice after reading a blog or post? I don't mean this offensively, just posing a question on something I think about. Or am I getting the blog posting and writing of articles confused? | Writing ads should be nothing else but fun. Relax, type a few words, remember to place your url wherever it goes! And that is really all you need to do! There is a charm to the ads of a 'newbie' promoter... they are genuine and that will connect you with others just like you! And...an experienced marketer might contact you and invite you to join their program because they recognize your sincerity. What's great is all the ad copy and text copy provided by most affiliate businesses. That's what I use the most. I'll find their promos, letters, banners, and using their phrasing copy and paste it as is.... simplest and easiest... or and this is important for classified ads especially here at Adlandpro... Change the title ....er...i mean ... the Subject! Just switch the body with the subject! I wasn't happy with phrases like $$$ Big Money $$$ although it does bring in the clicks on programs advertised in the Traffic Exchange! There must be a more subtle way... ...... so I tried decorative ads (and still use them!) <<<>>> <<<>>> <<<>>> is my favorite because I could fancy up my webpages with it as well when i knew very little html - which is still the case - and make it look like 'mine'......... Big text *This is good* Colorful text *Also Excellent* Lots of images *in ad copy? Beth, i think you're off topic* However, does your prospective customer, client, affiliate or subscriber have a preference? How serious should the ad come across? (I lthought we were writing fun ad copy?) I have to stifle a chuckle every time I try to write serious ad copy! LOL rotf.... Unique works. The word unique brought in clicks for me on traffic exchange. Not necessarily sign ups! but a click! that means I'm LEARNING! What I've really learned is that online Networking.... building relationships... is the number one way to go! and it isn't necessarily my strong suit! I love to write.
